Account Terms for Commercial Banking

The General Terms and Conditions (also referred to as the “Corporate Banking Deposit Accounts Terms and Conditions”) are terms governing your account(s) held with us. You are advised to read this together with the Account Product Schedule, which are terms and information relating to certain products and services to which you may have subscribed with us.

The General Terms and Conditions are made up of:

  1. The Master Services Agreement (including the Confidentiality and Regulatory Annex) – this document is applicable to your accounts and overall banking relationship with HSBC. If you already have an account with HSBC, either in Australia or elsewhere, you may have already seen this document. If this is the first time you are opening an account with HSBC, please read this document carefully.
  2. The Australia Country Conditions – these conditions amend and/or supplement the Relationship Documents (as defined in the Master Services Agreement) for your accounts in Australia only. Please read these conditions carefully whenever you open an account with HSBC in Australia.
  3. The Australia Account Disclosures – this document supplements the Relationship Documents and sets out additional terms and requirements that are applicable to your accounts in Australia only. Please read this document carefully whenever you open an account with HSBC in Australia.
  4. The E-Channels Security Measures – this document is applicable to you if you are subscribing for an HSBCnet profile, whether in Australia or elsewhere. If you already have an HSBCnet profile, whether in Australia or elsewhere, you would have seen this document.

Account Product Schedule for Commercial Banking

These are terms and information relating to certain account products and services to which you may have subscribed with HSBC in Australia. If the General Terms and Conditions apply to you, this schedule will form a part of the General Terms and Conditions and both documents should be read together.

Relationship Terms of Business

If the General Terms and Conditions do not apply to you for whatever reasons, this Relationship Terms of Business will govern your banking relationship with HSBC in Australia.

Corporate Card Terms and Conditions and Forms

We have made some changes to our Corporate Card Terms and Conditions, which will come into effect 15 Jan 2025. For more details about the changes, please read our “Notice of Change” below:

If the event causing your claim occurs before 14 October 2022, the relevant Complimentary Card Insurance Policy with effective date prior to 14 October 2022 will contain the eligibility criteria, terms, conditions, limits and exclusions for the relevant claim.

If the event causing your claim occurs on or after 14 October 2022, the Corporate and Business Card Complimentary Insurance Policy Information Booklet with an with effective date of 14 October 2022 will contain the eligibility criteria, terms, conditions, limits and exclusions for the relevant claim.
